Kahukura, I liked how you are using figurative language to describe and create interest with your readers e.g. simile 'The water was cold as ice' and 'quick as a race car'. I like how you used the word 'cascading' to describe the water falling. Perhaps next time you could use onomatopoeia vocabulary to describe sound. e.g. the water crashed and bashed onto the rocks. Keep blogging and sharing your learning.
