Yr 8 Formal

Last night on Tuesday, December, 7th the year 8 tukana attended a formal. The formal was a nice sit down dinner, a bit of a dance party and a bit of karaoke. Me and my friends all got dressed up. Wearable Art

This past term our focus in learning has been on wearable arts. We had to make something in belonging to Ata Hapara. My group (Mailli, Naquita, Jade, Kymaira and I) choosed to do a beach, because the New Brighton beach is a big part of the New Brighton community. But as we went on planning we saw that a Pukeko would be a better fit. We had a few difficuties but got there in the end. Here is a picture of some of my mahi.

Trite Planiceps

 So today a spider scientist / lab worker named Averill soon to be named Dr. Averill came in to show us and teach us about habbitats  of sorts of spiders. Our main focus was on a Trite Planiceps. How Far Have We Travelled In Space?
